Once a week I will share with you, my favorite yoga poses and their many benefits. Let’s start the process with cleansing revolving triangle pose. In this pose, all the chakra’s are in perfect alinement.

◆ It helps to build courage
◆ Good for concentration
◆ Hamstrings get a good stretch
◆ When you twist it has a ringing effect on your organs and helps to detoxify the body
◆ Helps digestion and lower back
◆ Shoulders are opened
◆ Balance is improved
◆ Great for hips!
◆ Having fully warmed up first, from the top of your mat step the legs out apart: so roughly a leg’s width apart, but it can be narrower if a beginner.
Turn your right leg out 90 degrees and turn the left leg in 45 degrees.
◆ Make sure the legs are in line. Imagine someone with a pen could draw a line from the back foot to the heel of the front.
◆ Now bring the arms out shoulder height and twist. Bring the left hand on the outside of the right foot or onto a yoga block if you can’t reach the floor.
◆ Expand up through the chest
◆ To come out, reverse in triple slow movements, remembering to breathe.
